This is a startling breach of protocol not only for a sitting president, but also for a normal human being with a sense of ethics. <\/p>\n<p>Two days ago, the 45th president dedicated a new aircraft carrier&mdash;one named after the guy who pardoned 45&#8217;s prototypical president, Richard Nixon&mdash;and as commander-in-chief, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slate.com\/articles\/news_and_politics\/jurisprudence\/2017\/07\/trump_is_ordering_service_members_to_support_the_republican_agenda.html\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Slate: Trump is ordering service members to support the Republican agenda\" class=\"offsite-link-inline\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ordered the service men and women in attendance<\/a> to support his political agenda. This stuff used to happen in tin pot, third world dictatorships.
