We took a little trip into a neighborhood North of downtown Palm Springs on Christmas Eve to take in a little holiday cheer and we were not disappointed. Why? Because nothing says Christmas like robots&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bobtherieau.com\/images\/blog\/dec04-02.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;seemingly hundreds of them interspersed between inflatable figures, nativity scenes, holiday villages, and tens of thousands of lights powered by the homeowner&#8217;s own multi-kilowatt diesel generators. I guess it&#8217;s completely logical that when you&#8217;ve constructed giant robot statues with found objects and have surrounded your property with them, the next step would be to light them up and fill in the blanks with other Christmas stuff.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bobtherieau.com\/images\/blog\/dec04-01.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t want to say the guy is eccentric, but&mdash;okay, maybe I do.<\/p>\n<p>More photos in a bit.<\/p>\n<p>Your pal,<\/p>\n<p>bob<\/p>\n<p><font size=\"smaller\">P.S.
